Giving to first baptist Clifton
Thank you for your desire to support your church and our various ministries. Your gift goes to meet, not only the needs of our church, but our various initiatives throughout our community and abroad. Our staff, finance team and other committees work hard to make sure that every dollar given makes the biggest impact.
Tithing in essence is an act of obedience and faith. It’s where we say, “God, I trust you with my finances.” It’s where we obey God’s word and give back our “first fruits.”
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.”
– Proverbs 3:9
How much to tithe?
Traditionally, we suggest around 10% of your income. However, if that’s too much, just give what you can, and see how God shows up.
How do I give?
You can give to our church in one of the following ways:
- Cash or Check. You may leave a check or cash in the offering plate on Sunday morning during our offertory song. If you would like your gift to be tracked for tax purposes, we ask that you put your cash in an envelope with your name on it.
- Bank Transfer/Bill Pay. Some have given this way in the past. You will need to coordinate with your bank to set this up.
- Online via debit or credit card. If you choose to give this way, you can access our online giving platform by clicking the button below.
Giving statements are available upon request.
